Morocco becomes the first North African Country to host the flagship tournament and it comes as no surprise since it has been long overdue.

Morocco won the bid to host the African’s women’s cup of Nations in 2022. This decision was taken by the CAF executives when they met at Yaoundé on the 15th of January in Cameroon.
