Is Ghana’s COVID-19 Different From That Of Other Countries- Paulina Anaba

Covid-19

Covid- 19 is real but what baffles me is how some countries have turned a deaf ear but have survived. Ghana put in all the necessary measures in order to control this canker. Schools were even closed down and most people had to stay indoors.

However, some countries like Burkina Faso refused to close down schools and went about their businesses. It is actually surprising to note why Ghana after just a week of resuming school and work, a lot of cases are being recorded?

The question one would ask is: Is Ghana’s COVID-19 different from those countries who have gone about their businesses since last year and are doing just fine?

The number of deaths being recorded is alarming. Why Ghana?

I tried to find out why nose masks are not being patronised in Ouagadougou as compared to Ghana. I was made aware that the Burkina government tried to politicise it and the people revolted. A lot of people don’t take it serious. Nose masks are scarcely worn, yet Ghana is suffering worse than the countries relegating it.

Loved ones are being lost and we demand that whatever needs to be done to put things right, be done.
